Violet's Bat Mitzvah

A friend of mine graciously asked me to photograph her daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration. I was so glad to be a part of it. I immediately knew I would start this blog post with a few images from the last time I photographed her daughter, Violet. As she took another step on her spiritual journey, it is also important for her and her family to look back and reflect.

Here are the current photos of this stunning lady.

It was unseasonably warm (in February mind you!) so we hopped outside for a few shots.
I had to zoom in on the awesome heels. ;-)
The family took some portraits earlier in the day but we got a few more.

The celebration was held at a lovely location with lots of wonderful details.

Violet's love of theatre was evident with this stellar display of lights and table "numbers."

The evening commenced with breaking of bread and candle lighting.

Gotta love the big friends shot.
I really like this image of the entire family blowing out the candles with Violet.
Let's not forget the fun hora!

The must-have Bat Mitzvah shot.
It was a good time - the proof is right here. Smiles all around.

There's nothing like celebrating with friends....it appears Violet has quite a few!

Congratulations Violet from me and all of your friends and family!
